LAS VEGAS – More than 3,000 limousine company operators, coachbuilders, suppliers and other professionals gathered here this week for the industry’s largest event in several years.

The mood was decidedly upbeat, with retail and corporate operators reporting solid business gains through much of last year and continuing into this year.

In addition, more than 400 first-timers attended the conference, representing a sizeable increase from recent years.

Many operators were in a buying mood and many coachbuilders and other exhibitors reporting strong interest in the products or services.

“This was the best show we’ve had in five years,” said John Beck of Krystal Enterprises. In addition, LCT took orders for 125 of its new chauffeur training video programs, four times more than in previous years.

Many delegates also had praise for the educational sessions developed by the National Limousine Association. Many of the sessions were highly rated on evaluation forms completed by attendees.
