Four Companies Join Green Ride Global Program

Posted on April 30, 2008 by LCT Staff - Also by this author - About the author

TORONTO, Ont. – Partners Executive Transportation (New York), California Limousines (Laguna, Calif.), Fleet Transportation (Alexandria, Va.), and Montreal Limousines Worldwide (Montreal), have become members of Green Ride Global. One of the main reasons these companies joined is to meet the rigorous supply chain requirements of leading corporations around the world by becoming members and guaranteeing the annual reduction in emissions caused by both their fleet of vehicles and facilities, according to Green Ride Global.

Green Ride Global, an environmental sustainability solutions firm for the ground transportation industry, helps companies achieve a level of environmental accountability that speaks directly to corporate audiences and procurement departments. “There is movement towards sustainable business operations and carbon measurement as a crucial and key factor in the selection of suppliers, such as those in the ground transportation industry,” says Justin Raymond, President and CEO of Green Ride Global. “Market leaders in the industry are acknowledging their need for third-party verified environmental programming as the industry undergoes a wave of change in how it handles and reports its ongoing environmental practices.”
