Chauffeur/Actor Dies in L.A. Crash

LOS ANGELES – A limousine driver who died in a collision on Foothill Blvd. was identified as Steven Susskind, 62, of Sun Valley.

He suffered fatal injuries when a 2002 Jeep Liberty driven by a 48-year-old Sunland woman collided with the limousine near the intersection of Foothill Blvd. and Elmo St., police and coroner's officials said Saturday.

Susskind died at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills. An investigation was still under way, and no charges had been filed against the Jeep driver, police said Saturday. Mr. Susskind was a well-accomplished actor and voice-over artist.
