Partners Executive Transportation Joins Green Ride Global

MINEOLA, N.Y. — Partners Executive Transportation has embarked on an aggressive environmental sustainability program to reduce the environmental footprint of all aspects of its business, including “the greening” of their executive ground transportation fleet. Using the services of Green Ride Global, a North-American firm which provides environmental sustainability programs for the transportation industry, Partners Executive Transportation has committed to annually reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through fuel efficiency, the transition to new technologies, reduced electricity use, waste diversion, recycling programs, and employee education.

The strategy being taken by Partners Executive Transportation is considered the high-road among environmentalists. “What some companies are calling a ‘green fleet’ merely consists of parking a hybrid on their lot,” says Justin Raymond, President and CEO of Green Ride Global. “However, what Partners Executive Transportation is doing is really addressing climate change by transforming its business accordingly and committing to reduce their emissions at source.”

By implementing fuel-saving technologies and chauffeur education on enhanced fuel-efficiency strategies, Partners Executive Transportation will reduce the environmental imprint of their vehicles without resorting to a full-turnover of its luxury fleet.

“The luxury ground transportation experience is considerably different than that afforded by many of the hybrid vehicles available on the market today,” says Sergio Sanchez, executive vice president of Partners Executive Transportation. “Our new Sustainability Roadmap will see us actively reducing our environmental footprint while allowing us to provide our customers with the level of service and luxury to which they are accustomed.”

Many of Partners Executive Transportation’s corporate clients have committed to reducing their own emissions. “Increasingly, our corporate clients are setting their own Greenhouse Gas reduction targets. By virtue of using our services, we are helping our clients reduce their Scope 3 emissions and helping them meet their GHG reduction goals,” says Sanchez. GHG emissions caused indirectly by an organization’s or individual’s activities are called Scope 3 Emissions.
