LANCASTER COUNTY, NEB. — The Nebraska Public Service Commission has given operator OMALiNK authority to transport passengers by van within Lancaster County and Lincoln. The van service, which charges by the hour, costs more than a taxi and less than a limousine.
Earlier, the commission approved the company’s limousine service to operate in Lancaster County and to other points in Nebraska, despite objections from other local limousine companies. The more recent decision will give OMALiNK the authority to pick up and drop off passengers at the Omaha airport. It does not, however, give the company permission to use sedans.
