Correction to Article on Proms in Maryland

Posted on May 21, 2008 by LCT Staff - Also by this author - About the author

BEL AIR, Md. — The Baltimore Sun published incorrect information that was posted last week by Driving Force in the article, “Baltimore High Schoolers Renting Less Limos this Year.” Mike Ballard, president of the Maryland Limousine Association, had his last name and company name misspelled. The company name is Hire Quality Limousines, and not Higher Quality Limousines, as published in the story, according to Ballard, owner of the Bel Air, Md.-based company.

Also, the article states that Hire Quality Limousines charges $800 for six hours and $1,000 for eight hours without clarifying that these are prom night limousine rates; all operators in this market charge higher rates for prom nights during this season, Ballard says.
