LONG ISLAND, N.Y. — A federal judge recently ruled a limousine driver could sue Nassau County for false arrest. Jorge Aguilera’s limousine was pulled over Aug. 26, 2004 in Syosset after two officers observed him driving erratically. Aguilera who, according to the lawsuit, claimed, “He was not feeling well and was unable to control his movements,” was arrested on a DWI charge. The charge was dropped after the tests performed by the authorities showed no signs of alcohol or drugs. Hours later, Aguilera was taken to a hospital where he was diagnosed as suffering from a stroke.
