DUNN, N.C. -- The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, a branch of the U.S. Department of Transportation which regulates large trucks and buses, has been investigating Cowboy Limo, a Dunn, N.C.-based limousine company, since last year. The agency charged the company with three violations including failing to implement an alcohol/drug testing program, not having proper insurance, and doing business across state lines without operating authority. The feds fined Cowboy Limo more than $40,000.
