How Do You Maximize Your Insurance Budget In An Uncertain Economy?

Posted on September 9, 2010

A leading industry insurance expert will share his insights later this month with select operators.

CHICAGO -- As the sluggish U.S. economy continues to challenge the entrepreneurial spirit of U.S. chauffeured transportation operators, it's more important than ever for operators to get the most value out of their insurance premium dollars. Business as usual is not an option; creativity has to be the rule, not the exception.

LANCER INSURANCE COMPANY's co-founder and senior executive vice president Tim Delaney, who brings over 25 years of limousine insurance experience to the podium, presents straight-forward tactics shrewd operators can take to get much more value for their premium dollars.

Delaney will be speaking on Wednesday, Sept. 29 during the LCT LEADERSHIP SUMMIT in Chicago. The exclusive industry networking and education event is capped at 200 operators.

Just as important, operators need to keep their capital in their companies where it belongs and not in some offshore insurance pool. Creative deductible plans, self-insured retentions, and other money-saving approaches will be reviewed and discussed.

Tim Delaney joined LANCER INSURANCE COMPANY in 1982 and serves as the company's senior executive vice president, transportation division and a director of Lancer Financial Group. Lancer is the largest insurer of passenger transportation in the U.S. with more than $120 million of annual premiums in the sector. Delaney's background includes 30 years of insurance and reinsurance experience. He is a member of the Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU).
