Silent Dispatch Unveils New Web Booking Tool

Posted on May 3, 2010

Customers receive instant quotes via the Web for virtually any type of trip and can manage their transportation accounts.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- SilentDispatch Inc. has just released its new Web Booking Tool for its reservation platform, also SilentDispatch, which contains a feature set that allows customers to manage their transportation, including setting up customer profiles,  tracking the status and location of their service vehicles, and reviewing their charges and invoices.

Operations can configure the system to provide instant quotes based on several pricing strategies such as hand drawn or zip code zones, vehicle type, and scheduled charges that may occur on holidays or busy periods of the day. Accounts can have their own special pricing and set of rules governing how they can manage their transportation.

One unique feature called OnApproach allows customers to receive text or email messages that provide trip information including the chauffeur's name and cell phone number, and real time information as to the whereabouts of their service vehicle. Customers debarking airplanes can check their cell phone for these messages and subsequently avoid calling the dispatch office in order to find their transportation.

Stuart Theodore, CEO of SilentDispatch Inc said in a statement, "The ease of use and presentation of  the booking process combined with flexibility in the back end  has allowed SilentDispatch users to successfully transition a portion of their business to the Web. Reducing phone reservations or subsequent calls to the office for various reasons is an obvious cost reduction, and this is the number one goal."

"This tool is essential for any company who is spending money positioning their Web sites on search engines or is serious about moving their customers to the Web" said SilentDispatch user Ted Malecki of National Black Car out of Chicago. "It is one thing to attract customers to your web site, it is quite another to present a process which has them actually book a trip. SilentDispatch makes the booking process simple and informative, where even first time visitors to our web site complete the booking process. "
