TUSTIN, Calif. -- Enterprise GPS Certified Green Fleet Program provides fleet operators the tools to manage their fleets in a more eco-friendly manner while cutting costs.

The program enables operators to reduce excessive fuel use; aggressive driving habits; excessive engine idling; and speeds. Fleet maintenance automation also ensures optimum vehicle performance and fuel economy; provides timely maintenance history for each fleet vehicle; and gives fleet managers a summary of impending vehicle maintenance tasks to keep their fleet at optimal performance.

In addition to all the different factors that Enterprise GPS tracks, the company offers an analysis of the information and provides standards that allow the client to become greener and to reduce its carbon footprint.

Standards ensure that every fleet operator that has earned the Enterprise GPS Certified Green Fleet logo has implemented specific measures to reduce their carbon footprint and use of fossil fuels.
