NBTA Features Green Ride Global Preferred Supplier List

Posted on June 10, 2009

TORONTO - The National Business Travel Association has featured the Green Ride Global Green Preferred Supplier List on the NBTA homepage and made it available inside the online NBTA Resource Library.

The Green Preferred Supplier List - highlighting all Green Ride Global member companies, the cities they service, their environmental credentials, and direct contact information - has gained high visibility and been positioned as a valuable travel industry tool for NBTA members, corporate travel executives, and meeting planners.

More than 150 major corporations across North America are turning to the Green Ride Global 'Green Preferred Supplier List' when selecting ground transportation companies as their preferred suppliers. The breakdown of corporations include major event companies, destination management companies, and corporate leaders such as American Express Business Travel, Carlson Wagonlit, Sun Microsystems, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Hewlett-Packard, and many more significant corporate users of chauffeured ground transportation.

"We are taking the guesswork out of the equation for any organization looking to align with environmental leaders in the chauffeured ground transportation segment," said Justin Raymond, President and CEO of Green Ride Global. "Our Green Preferred Supplier List is already saving time and money for major travel buyers, procurement officials, event planners, and executive assistants as they now have an easy to use directory to locate and contact the environmental leaders."

Green Ride Global members have an ISO 14001 compliant environmental management system in place that enables them to achieve GHG reductions that directly correlate with the emissions reduction targets set by corporations, governments, and institutions across the country and around the world.

You can find the Green Preferred Supplier List inside of the NBTA Resource Library.
