Earth Limos Arrives As Las Vegas’ First All-Green Limousine Service

Posted on March 17, 2009

LAS VEGAS — Earth Buses, the first environmentally friendly luxury limousine bus service in Las Vegas, has introduced Earth Limos, a fleet of environmentally friendly, luxury SUVs and sedans. Like Earth Buses, the new Earth Limos fleet is comprised of clean-diesel vehicles that use renewable fuel sources, emitting far less greenhouse gas emissions than comparable non-environmentally friendly vehicles.

Earth Limos and Earth Buses provide chauffeur services for business and airport transport, bachelor or bachelorette parties, weddings, sporting events, concerts, sightseeing, private tours, shopping and city nightlife.

"The Earth Limos and Earth Buses fleets include vehicles that run only on biodiesel and liquefied petroleum gas," said Lou Castro, founder and president of Earth Limos and Earth Buses. "Our clean-fuel powered luxury limousines and hybrid vehicles combine our commitment to the environment with our commitment to service, style and comfort."

The Earth Limos fleet includes a Lincoln Town Car Luxury Stretch Limo that accommodates up to 10 passengers and runs on liquefied petroleum gas. The fleet also includes a Ford Excursion Luxury SUV that accommodates up to six passengers and runs on biodiesel, as well as a Toyota Prius hybrid.

The Earth Limos fleet will be expanded to include the seven-passenger Chevrolet Yukon luxury SUV that runs on hybrid technology, and the four-passenger Lincoln Town Car luxury sedan that runs on liquefied petroleum gas.

The Earth Buses fleet includes a Ford F-650 Mega Super Stretch Limo Bus that accommodates up to 24 passengers and runs on biodiesel; a GMC 5500 Limo Bus that accommodates up to 22 passengers and runs on biodiesel; and an International 3200 Limo Bus that accommodates up to 26 passengers and runs on biodiesel.

The vehicles emit as much as 90 percent less greenhouse gases than vehicles of comparable size. Earth Buses offer features such as custom plush seating, state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment including flat-screen TVs and programmable neon fiber-optic lighting, iPod connections and bar service upon request.
