Operator Creates Industry Financial Blog

Posted on April 23, 2009

HOUSTON - Matt Assolin, vice president of Nikko's Transportation Service, a worldwide chauffeured car provider, has created a blog detailing what implications Wall Street events and Washington policies will have on the limousine industry.

"I feel that there is no one person that contributes regularly to the state of our industry regarding economics and politics," Assolin said. "While we do have some notable figures in the industry who are very informed, the dialog is not continuous."

"My intention with this blog is not to advertise Nikko's, but to become a spokesperson for our industry in our current and future economic situation," Assolin said.

Assolin holds a BBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Houston-Downtown, and will be following up with a Masters in Economics from Texas A&M University.

"For the record, I am a believer in supply side economic theory and free market capitalism. My posts will center on what the government is doing that will hurt or help our industry, coupled with same for Wall Street," Assolin said.
