Lancer Reaffirms 25 Years Of Insurance Service

Posted on April 22, 2009

LONG BEACH, N.Y. - In these tough economic times, Lancer Insurance Company is staying involved and focused on the things that highlight the strengths of the limousine and chauffeured transportation industry. Lancer predicts that through shared commitment, the industry will emerge even stronger from today's challenges.

In just the first four months of 2009, Lancer exhibited at the International LCT Show in Las Vegas. Executive Vice President Tim Delaney and Senior Vice President Paul Berne offered attendees a presentation on "How to Manage a Catastrophic Claim." Lancer sponsored the 2009 Humanitarian Award, given posthumously to NLA Director Julie Herring who passed away last year. Tim Delaney presented the award to her father along with a check for $5,000 to a cancer support group founded by Julie. Lancer also became a charter member and supporter of the Luxury Base Operators Association (LBOA), a new association serving New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. And we gave a special award to acknowledge the accomplishment of our policy holder Matt Silver, CEO of Ultimate Class Limousine, which was named the Long Island Press Limousine Operator of the Year.

Lancer's commitment will continue throughout 2009. As a Platinum Sponsor of the Limousine Associations of New Jersey, Lancer has donated one of our framed and signed original lithographs to be up for bids in their annual charity auction. Lancer also belongs to the New England Livery Association and will help sponsor its Chauffeur's Challenge Day to be held on May 17. It will be exhibiting and supporting both the LCT Show in Connecticut in September and the Limo Digest Show in Atlantic City in October.

On a more personal basis, Lancer will be granting more than two dozen Loyalty Program awards to our customers who have been with us for 5, 10, 15 and 20 consecutive years. Also in the next eight months, Lancer will present its prestigious Gold Safety Awards to 122 of its loyal and safe customers. This award is presented to those companies that demonstrate the highest commitment of safety to their customers and employees, a commitment that is manifested in a superior claims record. Lancer will continue to offer free and exclusive safety products to its customers, including its highly acclaimed video series and discounts on purchase and installation of the DriveCam video event recorders.
