DriveCam Renews Contract with Dycom Industries Inc.

Posted on July 1, 2008

SAN DIEGO — DriveCam Inc., a global driver risk management company that sells onboard safety cameras to the chauffeured transportation industry, recently renewed a three-year contract with Dycom Industries Inc., an infrastructure services company for the utility and telecommunications industries. DriveCam will complete deployment of the company’s driver risk management solution across much of its fleet.

Dycom has been a DriveCam customer since 2004. More than 5,000 Dycom vehicles are outfitted with DriveCam’s exception-based video event recorders. Dycom intends to roll out the solution to an additional 1,800 vehicles, bringing total deployment to nearly 7,000 vehicles.

DriveCam has been reducing risky driving behaviors for more than 10 years and is able to scale its driver risk management solution to meet the needs of individual drivers and large, global fleets. It reduces claims costs and saves lives by improving the way people drive. By combining sight and sound, expert analysis, and driver coaching, DriveCam has reduced vehicle damages, workers’ compensation, and personal injury costs by more than 50% in nearly 100,000 commercial and government vehicles.
