TORONTO — Five members of the Green Ride Global program have qualified for partnership in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Climate Leaders Program: Company Car and Limousine, Luxury Limousines of Sacramento, Pure Luxury Transportation, Classique Limousines, and Fleet Transportation LLC.

The companies have been accepted in the Climate Leaders Program based on their environmental commitment through Green Ride Global. “Very few companies from the transportation industry are part of the Climate Leaders Program,” says Ian Lipton, chief operating officer of Green Ride Global. “These five companies are helping show the EPA that the chauffeured ground transportation industry has a serious commitment to environmental sustainability.”

More GRG members are expected to join these five companies in the coming months as their greenhouse gas emissions measurements and reduction targets are completed. GRG works with member companies to develop and implement environmental sustainability strategies that target and reduce the emissions produced by their fleets and facilities at source.
