Follow up with attendees after an event. Use post cards, note cards or emails to offer discounts or educational materials or to promote upcoming events.

For example, a well-known client in the transportation industry uses post cards to follow up with bridal trade show leads. The postcards offer them a free gift when they book with in a certain time frame.
