Servicing a Booming Corporate Market

Posted on August 1, 2000 by LCT Staff - Also by this author

Peek inside the office of a corporate travel executive based in New Jersey. Pick up the file marked, “New Jersey Limousine Companies” and chances are you will find information on well-known industry players such as A-1, Air Brook, Arrow, BostonCoach, Empire International, Flyte Tyme, Garden State, Gem, and Royal Coachman, to name a few.

Chances are some or all of these companies will have brochures, price lists, and more on file with the corporate travel manager. Each of the limousine companies will tout its state-of-the-art technology. Everything from voiceless dispatch, streamlined billing, flight tracking and GPS will be part of the impressive sales presentation packages from these companies. Here is a little something none of them will advertise. They are all experiencing unparalleled growth, and many have little or no capacity to take on more business, especially at peak times. Many of New Jersey’s large limousine operators have taken their sales people off the road because the firms could not accommodate a large influx of business from new corporate clients.
