The problem that I am having is that the air in the rear works on occasion.

Dear Dr. Limo-

I have a 2005 E.C.B. 120 inch, 21,000 miles. The problem that I am having is that the air in the rear works on occasion. I have to check the fuses and even took it to the dealer, but of course, when the car is there, it works fine. As soon as I get home, or the next time it goes on a run, it acts up. Even when I try to control the air from the driver's compartment, it does not work. Any suggestions on what could cause the fan not to blow? Thanks James Ward Imperial Limousine Svc, Chicago, Ill.

Dear James,

I apologize for the delay, but it is prom weekend! It sounds like you have a loose wire. I know it sounds simple, but you say the fan doesn't work when you are driving the car.

The tech that worked on your car didnt drive the car and see if the fan worked, he sat on his a-- with the AC on turning the fan on and off, and then went and proudly announced he found nothing, so he could get paid and moved on to the next ticket.

If you will start the car, turn on the fan, move both front seats as far as you can foreward, reach behind them, and move the wiring harness, that will simulate the action gravity has on the wires as you bump your way over our great highway system. I would bet that the fan starts going on and off. If it does, watch the harness to see which wires are moving. When your fan acts up move close. There you will locate your problem.
