The National Highway Traffic Safety Authority (NHTSA) is charged with the responsibility of making American roads safe. If there is a problem it is NHTSA?s duty to investigate what that problem is and how it can be corrected. Harry Thompson is in charge of the division that encompasses the chauffeured transportation industry.

Thompson has been with NHTSA for 24 years and has addressed many safety issues and questions within our industry. We had a chance to talk with Thompson and here is what he had to say.
