East Coast Trade Show To Cap A Banner Year For LCT

TORRANCE, Calif. — In a strong sign of recovery, LCT Magazine next year will offer the limousine industry three major trade show and conference events and 12 issues of the magazine, marking the first calendar year since 2008 with such a full agenda.

LCT Magazine also marks the 30th anniversary of its publication in February 2013.

2013 will be the first year in decades that LCT and the NLA host dual major trade shows on both sides of the nation — the International LCT Show in Las Vegas on Feb. 5-7, with 120,000 square feet of trade show floor space, and the national LCT Show East in Atlantic City, N.J., on Oct. 27-29, with 85,000 square feet of trade show floor space.  

The 2013 International LCT Show in Las Vegas, to be held at the MGM Grand Resort and Casino, is on track to draw more attendees, exhibitors and vehicles than this year’s show. It will be held in conjunction with the National Limousine Association, and for the first time, with the American Bus Association as the result of a formal strategic alliance arranged this year. The NLA and ABA will be offering the industry’s most thorough and highest quality full educational and conference program, for chauffeured transportation and charter and tour operators alike. The ILCT Show is considered the largest global trade show and conference for the chauffeured transportation industry.

A few months later, the 2013 LCT Leadership Summit will commence in late Spring in South Florida. The event returns to its traditional South Florida location and late spring time slot. More details will be announced in coming months.

LCT East
LCT returns to its trade show roots with the debut of its second-generation East Coast-based trade show, continuing a legacy that started with the original limousine industry trade show launched by LCT at Caesar’s Atlantic City in the fall of 1984. The new LCT Show East, to be held at the Atlantic City Convention Center with Caesar’s as the official hotel, will offer special seminars dedicated to East Coast operators as LCT cements deeper business connections and relationships with East Coast industry vendors and operators. It also will provide a platform time for the NLA to meet with its constituents and members.

Limousine Charter & Tour Magazine, which started out as Limousine & Chauffeur and later became Limousine & Chauffeured Transportation until 2009, will expand from 10 to 12 issues next year, offering more B2B content, topics and advertising opportunities for industry vendors.

Look for special deals on LCT event passes, advertising/exhibit packages, and marketing promotions in 2013.
