American Bus Association Signs Deal With Group Sales Box Office

Posted on June 5, 2012

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The American Bus Association and New York’s Group Sales Box Office have signed a three-year agreement for Group Sales Box Office to continue to be a sponsor of ABA’s Marketplace. With the recent merger of Group Sales Box Office and Broadway.com, ABA operator members will have the benefit of meeting and being entertained by the preeminent Broadway ticket agency in the nation.

Groups Sales Box Office will sponsor the ABA’s All Delegate Lunch at the 2013 ABA Marketplace in Charlotte, N.C. on Jan. 7, 2013, the 2014 Marketplace in Nashville, Tenn. and the 2015 Marketplace. The All Delegate Best of Broadway Luncheon is one of the highlights of Marketplace.

ABA and Group Sales Box Office/Broadway.com have long had a very successful relationship. This agreement ensures that ABA delegates at future Marketplace events will have more opportunities to network and be entertained at the same time.

“Our longstanding membership with ABA is invaluable to Group Sales Box Office/Broadway.com,” said Stephanie Lee, president of Group Sales Box Office/Broadway.com. “ABA tour operator and motorcoach operator members are bringing millions of theatre patrons to Broadway each year. Marketplace is the first travel and trade show of the year and the one where we receive the greatest ROI. We are very pleased to continue our association with ABA.”
