Chinese Visitors Propel Travel And Tourism Growth

Nearly 11% of last year’s 6.5 million international visitors to Los Angeles hailed from China — a figure that amounts to 700,000 travelers, according to the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board. Most of them will need to be chauffeured around.

China became the most important source of international visitors to Los Angeles last year, and tourism boosters are counting on the number of Chinese visitors to continue growing for the foreseeable future.
