CORRECTION: BostonCoach Owned By Fidelity Investments

Posted on February 10, 2010 by LCT Staff - Also by this author - About the author

The recent formation of Volition Capital by the team that previously led U.S. operations of Fidelity Ventures has nothing to do with BostonCoach. Business at the chauffeured operation goes on as usual.

BOSTON — BostonCoach has issued the following correction regarding LCT’s use of an article by Dow Jones News:

“Volition Capital does not own BostonCoach. The team that previously led the U.S. operations of Fidelity Ventures announced last month that it had established Volition Capital, an independent growth equity firm that principally invests in high-potential, founder-owned technology companies. BostonCoach is not owned by Volition Capital and has never been owned or managed by Fidelity Ventures. Since it was founded, BostonCoach has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Fidelity Investments. For BostonCoach, it is business as usual.”
