LCT Expands Operator Speed Networking

Posted on November 11, 2009 by LCT Staff - Also by this author - About the author

TORRANCE, CA — LCT Magazine today announces two key affiliate speed meets for operators attending the International LCT Show in Las Vegas Jan. 25-27, 2010.

The events — one focused on international affiliates and the other on domestic affiliates — build on the resounding success of the chauffeured transportation industry’s first-ever formal networking event held Oct. 7 during the LCT Eastern Conference at the Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino in Connecticut.

Operators attending the groundbreaking network event reported developing wider networks and solid leads. The organized, face-to-face networking structure — patterned after the popular “speed dating” format — allows participants to rotate among tables of companies looking for affiliate operators.

Intense, focused networking has become crucial for operators during challenging economic times. LCT leads the industry in structuring and hosting such events. After getting positive and constructive feedback from operators at the LCT East event, the next two will be held in the larger, cooler exhibit hall with plenty of hand sanitizers and water.

Here are some details of the two speed meets:

International Affiliate Speed Meet

Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2:00pm - 4:00pm, Venetian Hall D

Affiliates recognize no borders, so all operators at the 2010 International LCT Show will be very welcome to participate in this event hosted by network companies headquartered outside of the U.S. Modeled after the modern speed-dating phenomenon, the International Affiliate Speed Meet will be a quick-fire introduction between networks and operators from across the globe.

U.S. Affiliate Speed Meet

Wednesday, Jan. 27, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Venetian Hall D

The U.S. Affiliate Speed Meet will be structured just like the International program with one difference: all network hosts will be U.S.-based companies. Most definitely, this will be a “worth-the-price-of-admission” experience for every operator who participates. Sponsored by

The International LCT Show is the largest and longest-running industry conference, trade show, and networking event that draws operators form across the U.S. and around the world. The theme is “Your New Reality,” as LCT and the National Limousine Association offer an education and networking program that stays out front on industry trends, changes, and economic shifts.
