Operator Donating Val Day Rides to Senior Community

Posted on February 13, 2009 by LCT Staff - Also by this author - About the author

KINGSTON, Mass. - In the Wingate tradition of hospitality, 20 couples will be guests celebrating an evening of fine dining and entertainment at the Jones River Café at The Residences, 19 Chipman Way, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14. The Residences is the newest addition to the growing senior community on Silver Lake. It is home to independent seniors and offers luxury living with supportive services.

In addition to residents who presently reside at the Wingate at Silver Lake community, 16 couples from surrounding towns responded to the offer of a chauffer driven limousine by Above the Clouds Limousine, Piano entertainment by Steve Lanzilotta, and a fine dining experience, compliments of one of the many professional executive chefs.

“One of the benefits of our community is that we work very hard to keep couples together as they age,” said Connie McCarthy, executive director of The Inn at Silver Lake and The Residences. “This is our way to celebrate that success. We are fortunate to have a variety of healthcare, hospitality and residential options that can adapt to the changing needs of individuals and couples. Wingate is constantly striving to raise the bar in hospitality services. Celebrating Valentines Day with couples is a great way to expose the greater Kingston community to the luxury services and senior living options all tucked away on Silver Lake.”
