Arizona Operator Negotiating to Buy Building

Posted on February 3, 2009 by LCT Staff - Also by this author - About the author

PHOENIX - Aloha Limousine, which has offices in Tempe and Glendale, is negotiating to buy a building in west Chandler.

Owners Dean Park of Chandler, a former Hawaiian Airlines pilot, and Timothy White of Tempe, an ex-accountant, hope to buy the building by March 24.

"For a starter company, we've done relatively well," Park said.

The company began Aug. 1 with one limo, and now it has eight. It also shares another one with another company.

When passengers step into an Aloha vehicle, they are greeted with Hawaiian music, macadamia nuts and Hawaiian drinks, and they receive a gift. Customers have the choice of having their driver dressed in a traditional suit or in casual Hawaiian attire. Passengers have the option of taking the music CD home.

The business has white limos, black ones and one two-tone black and silver limo. The company can accommodate anywhere from one passenger to about 20.
