ATLANTIC CITY— An enthusiastic 1,000 attendees from the East Coast — and beyond — gathered here this past week at Caesars Atlantic City and the Convention Center for three-jammed back days of education, exhibits and excitement during LCT-NLA Show East. Great fall seashore weather coupled with numerous social, networking and nightlife events confirmed that the return of LCT to Atlantic City for the second year is a rousing—and growing—success.
In fact, support from both operators and industry suppliers and vehicle manufacturers has spurred the show to relocate next year to the modern Harrah's Resort now that Caesars Entertainment, the management arm of Harrah's and Caesars Atlantic City, has confirmed that its new convention hall will be open in time.
“We knew that the facility was under construction when we first booked Caesars in 2012," said LCT Publisher and Show Chair Sara Eastwood-McLean. "We just did not know when it would open and whether or not it would accommodate buses and other vehicles. With confirmation that the facility will open in August 2015, we were able to move forward on securing next year’s event. It is on the Marina side so we think it will be a nice change of scenery. Our room block is in the Waterfront tower – the newest section of Harrah’s and a short indoor walk to the convention hall.” Mark your calendars now. The event will take place Sunday, Nov. 8 to Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015.

This year’s show featured a full card of National Limousine Association crafted sessions, a live vehicle auction, and the annual People’s Choice Awards gala celebration. Reinforcing the show’s emphasis on helping operators run their businesses better, Keynote speaker Stuart Varney of FOX Business Network delivered an “inside” appraisal of the state of the economy and world affairs giving operators vauable insight into where the domestic and global economy is heading.
Attendees also had a full dance card packed with fun networking events and supplier-hosted Hospitality Row parties. Speaking of dance, the second night concluded with the exhibitor-hosted Party at Dusk Nightclub where operators rocked the dance floor.
