LCT Hits 2013 As One-Stop Trade Show & Magazine Shop

2013 is here and what a year this will be. There is so much happening with the LCT brand team. I hope you can indulge me here as I list what is coming your way.

LCT Publisher Sara Eastwood-McLean leads the LCT brand into 2013 and beyond with more groundbreaking industry content, more issues of LCT, a new bi-annual magazine called Party Car, the first-ever limousine industry certification program and an East Coast trade show.
LCT Publisher Sara Eastwood-McLean leads the LCT brand into 2013 and beyond with more groundbreaking industry content, more issues of LCT, a new bi-annual magazine called Party Car, the first-ever limousine industry certification program and an East Coast trade show.

  • First up, LCT Magazine: After a record-breaking 2012, LCT will increase its circulation to publish 12 issues this year to include a new bi-annual supplement called Party Car that will ride along for our April and October issues. We have refreshed and simplified the design of the magazine, starting with this issue, which spotlights the new model vehicles you can expect to see in Las Vegas.

  • Next up, the International LCT Show: It’s obvious that the exhibitor floor, with more product diversity than last year (if you can believe it!), is the centerpiece of this megawatt convention Feb. 5-7 at the MGM Grand. The sessions produced by the NLA, which include TWO keynotes, will be simply outstanding. We also welcome the new ABA Bus Clinic to our Show line up. LCT is proud to announce an exclusive alliance with the world’s largest charter and tour trade organization, which will conduct a day of bus-related sessions as no one has seen before. Our awards banquet was overhauled, and thanks to increased sponsorship support, tickets are now $50 per person, yet more than $100,000 is ear-marked to spend on this over-the-top razzle-dazzle evening of entertainment for your networking pleasure.
  • The days of print classifieds is officially dead here at LCT. We are the proud owners of the oldest, most optimized online limo trader in the world!, which boasts more than 650 pre-owned limos and buses for sale, was officially acquired by LCT just three weeks ago. For next to nothing, anyone — that includes private sellers, dealers and coachbuilders — can sell their used vehicles. The site is generating 400,000 page views per month. Rock on!

  • LCT Leadership Summit: This elite conference will be hosted in Miami in June. We are excited to be back in Florida and evaluating all the five-star hotels, including the Mandarin Oriental and the Ritz-Carlton South Beach. All of our sponsors are returning and more. Mark your calendar. It is a must-attend!

  • LCT Master’s Program: The program will be the first-ever certification for owners of limousine services. There is too much detail to cover here so please be sure to visit the LCT booth at our upcoming show for details. For those of you who want to stand out and sell based on exceptional credibility, this program is for you!
  • Back to Atlantic City: LCT and the NLA have staked claim on Atlantic City as the destination to host the rebirth of LCT Show East. That’s right, the show returns to its birthplace Oct. 27-29, 2013. The original LCT Show launched in 1984 at Caesar’s Palace Atlantic City and was held there for 13 years before a competitive show came into town in 1997. We tested New York with our Javitz Center show, and then went on to New England with our LCT Eastern Conference at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. Both venues are now cost prohibitive in today’s climate. It’s no secret that our competitive situation changed radically this past fall, with much ensuing drama. LCT has all the resources to become the great stabilizer in this time of sheer craziness. We are a solid company with exceptional credibility. We have the expertise to restore the Eastern show to its grandeur and class. As with the Las Vegas event, the Eastern show will contribute healthy show proceeds to the NLA because we believe we are all better off with a trade organization fighting for our best interests. Our constituents will receive the highest quality event, one to be proud to be a part of, and excellent value for your money and time. With the NLA education, you can count on sessions being top notch. And the parties are back. The event will open on a Sunday to a fabulous reception followed by hospitality row. On Monday, our clients will be treated to a dinner followed by a nightclub party at Caesars’ Dusk. The Show ends Tuesday, so for those needing to get up to the TLPA event, we got that covered too!

We could not grow our brand without people like you. The loyalty spanning 30 years of unwavering friendships is, well, amazing. Thank you! We love this industry with all our hearts and just are over the moon in sharing with you our plans for the future. This is going to be a spectacular year!
