As the business of the ILCT Show simmers down a little two weeks after the show, it’s been great to talk to attendees and exhibitors and get their feedback from the show. Most operators have been in good spirits and reporting good business returns this year, and the vendors really came out with a variety of new offerings: vehicle, technology products, and finance and insurance specialists were there.

The Fast40 went well. It was great to see some new faces in the crowd coming up and asking questions and showing interest in the topic. The Fast40 panel this year proved to be a great thinking ground for the industry to posit some of its biggest challenges going forward.

Big thanks to panelists Nick Kokas, Elisabeth Jachym-Allan, Selim Aslan, Robert Cardiff, and Cory Zucker. I really appreciate all the help and your contributions to the Fast40 group.

Look for more news on the Fast40 leading up to the LCT Summit, May 17-19, 2015 in Miami Beach, Fla., where the group will address more of these topics and provide specific take-home examples for operators to put to use.

I’ll also be covering this ILCT Fast40 session in more detail in the May issue of LCT.

Have a great weekend.
