NEW EDITOR: Same Church, Different Pew

TOM HALLIGAN: As LCT Magazine’s new East Coast Editor, I’d like to introduce myself and get you all up to speed on what’s in store for the LCT East View Blog. If my name sounds familiar, that’s because I was formally with Limo Digest and joined LCT Magazine last week.

One of the important insights I quickly learned during my previous editorial tour was that the industry is a close-knit group, enthusiastic, and always willing to talk to the media to let their voices be heard individually, through their local association, or through the NLA. And, I may add, often loud and to the point!

I appreciate that directness because the industry is constantly evolving and continually faces new challenges that need to be brought to the forefront of discussion to ensure that limousine and charter and tour operators continue to grow and succeed.

And that, my friends, is the cornerstone of what my colleague Linda Jagiela and I will tackle in this blog, in the magazine, and via our social media venues. Because you are passionate about your business, this blog can only be successful if there is a continual dialogue that elevates the conversation and works to address the pressing issues of the day, celebrate successes, and keeps us on top of the 24/7 news cycle so we always are informed and up to date on news that effects the industry. That said, I look forward to working with all of you, meeting you in Atlantic City at LCT Show East, and growing our relationship in the years ahead. — Tom Halligan, East Coast Editor
