Three years ago at the Mohegan Sun LCT [Eastern Conference], I came across promotional materials from Red Oak Transportation: a bi-fold with staggered inserts.
It was gorgeous, and I always remembered it. Fast forward to this past Saturday, when I needed to get a VIP guest of University of Virginia from Westchester, N.Y. to Charlottesville, Va. [through] the teeth of Hurricane Irene.
None of my usual partners in New York could help me. It was getting to the point where I would need to disappoint UVA, one of our largest clients, and then I remembered that fabulous handout with its distinctive red oak leaf, and that they were located in that area.
I called them, and they accepted the job. Red Oak had a vehicle there in half-an-hour, and completed the run in excellent time and service.
I would not have known of them, save for your unique and powerful marketing piece! Not only did they make a hefty sum on the job, but they will jump up into my go-to list for that area, along with Jason and Doug.
This is a direct result of your marketing piece! Well done sir…once again. Let’s talk after you get your office back online…looking forward to seeing you in Miami!
Don't let your guests down. Here are some things to think about before the event starts.
