ST. JOHN'S, Newfoundland -- A limousine burned out overnight in the Brigus Junction area, according to an Aug. 3 report.

Evan Bursey, owner of Affordable Limousines, was driving the vehicle at the time of the fire. Bursey had taken a group of eight passengers from George Street Festival in St. John's to Ocean Pond when he noticed a strong smell of gasoline. Upon closer inspection, Bursey discovered a serious situation.

He pulled over on the shoulder of the highway, opened the hood of the car and saw smoke and flames. The flames caught the rest of the vehicle quickly on fire and burned. He says within 10 minutes, members of the Avondale Fire Department were on the scene.

There were no injuries, but the limousine was completely burned out.
