Speco Technologies Offers Real-Time Surveillance For Buses

AMITYVILLE, N.Y. - Speco Technologies new mobile four channel, H.264, pentaplex DVR is designed for installation in buses, emergency vehicles, police cars, trains and more. It allows for capturing and delivering real-time video through a compact surveillance system in moving vehicles.

About the size of a radar detector, it is small enough to fit on top of or under the dashboard. When used with a separately purchased Verizon USB Aircard the DVR can be accessed remotely allowing the video and GPS information to be available to authorized viewers. Features include:

  • GPS (optional) data can overlay location,   speed and record w/video onto the DVR
  • Impact sensor built into the optional GPS
  • Works with Verizon WirelessTM USB   Air Cards for remote access of live and playback video
  • Driving information (warning lights, brakes,   turn signals) can be superimposed onto   the recording
  • SD card memory - 2 and 6 card models: no HDD to worry about H.264 Compression 
  • Max 120fps (HD1) / 60 fps (D1) recording in NTSC
